About The Artwork
Walks along the Haw River inspired by birds in flight and their deliberate sense of sight. I would like the viewer to feel that they are observing a strategic sense of survival. The subject dictates the medium of layered colored pencil, watercolor, and ink, as the detailed patterns in the feathers become more apparent the closer to detail.
