Hidden Worlds is the product of experimentation! Although I have used paste on the canvas, for this piece I kept the coverage shallow and even. I then used liquid acrylic paint to pour and settle onto the paste rather than my usual paint application techniques. I love the combination of gloss and matt finishes and introduced the gloss gel discs to the piece to give it another dimension (if you'll pardon the pun!). The view of the gloss discs is totally dependent upon where you are standing in relation to the piece and from where the light is streaming. As you move around the painting, the light changes and therefore the 'worlds' will appear or disappear! I have taken the photographs of this painting in strong sunlight as it was the best way to illustrate the 'hidden'! All artwork is signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
