About The Artwork

This extraordinary holy place always attracts the souls of believers, pilgrims and artists. Here in 1924 was the appearance of the Most Holy Theotokos who said that this place is holy, and she will always come to it and hear our prayers and over time a majestic monastery will grow here. The plot of the picture was sought for a long time. It was necessary to find something in the foreground that would remind us of those ancient times when the Most Holy Theotokos walked on this land. The plot was found with an ancient well, as he still saw those times. In the background are the resting monastic palya, who have already given their harvest and are preparing for winter rest. Along with this, the picture contains the image of water in an ancient well, the image of water which is carried by clouds across the sky, filling the earth with life-giving moisture, and spiritual water that is in this holy place under the domes of temples in monastic prayer. Hundreds of people come for this spiritual water, in order to water their souls and revive it from spiritual drought, so that spring will be born again in it. In order to solve this semantic and emotional problem, the classical painting technique was chosen. There are no expressive body strokes inherent in me. They are more ordered and less textured here, which creates silence and harmony in this plot.

For me it is important to convey to the viewer the image seen in nature or in the depths of my heart. Expressive means are taken from existing ones or new ones are being searched. The most important thing is not the style and method, but the sound of the image.
