The painting is a study based on the work of the great master, "Fishermen and Boats in Clichy". It is a great and mysterious feeling to copy a work of art by Van Gogh and try to recreate what he felt during his creative process. You try to imagine what he might have seen when he was on location observing the fisherman, and how and why he chose a particular color and brushstroke. Since the painting contains several colors and layers, it took a little longer than usual to complete the work, but the result is satisfying and the artist was able to feel a little closer to her favorite painter.
