SHIPPING AND RETURNS
This artwork is between drawing and painting. I used only a watercolour brush. A work like this takes a lot of time to make it, an average of forty days. My work began with this simple question. Born in Argentina and trained in visual arts, my practice developed through a long engagement with drawing, repetition, and rule-based procedures. Since moving to Europe, my work has gradually shifted from gesture toward structure.
Rather than representing external subjects, I construct simple systems—repeated lines, tensioned strings, or grid-based processes—to observe how order appears and how it begins to dissolve. Each work follows a set of constraints that allow subtle variations and interruptions to occur.
I work on linen prepared with thin layers of gesso so the surface remains present. The ground is not neutral; it carries traces and irregularities that participate in the image. Emptiness functions as an active field rather than a void.
Through repetition the line gradually ceases to describe and begins to organize space, allowing the image to exist less as expression and more as a system where perception can slow down and unfold.
