ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece was a further exploration into color and texture, exercising my technique with pallet knife application of thickened paint. This frame felt special to me, and I wanted to create a piece that felt the same when sitting inside it. I pushed my boundaries here and discovered new color combinations and shapes that I’ve come to appreciate.
