About The Artwork
I was inspired to paint a stunning Welsh Mountain Pony team as they were driven in the Brandywine Valley in Delaware. Carriaging is a remarkable pastime in our valley-- the magic transports and elevates.The ponies were beautiful in the light. Driving a Four-in-Hand team requires great skill and the the effort of a team of people. The relationship between man and horse has continued to inspire me for more than four decades. Note: The work is framed. I have noted the image size. The pickled wood frame measures 21" x 27"
