About The Artwork
I have been drawing and painting around this construction site for a long time. All over the country people are paying with their lives. The idea to scratch into the wood instead of painting in color felt to me more in line with the hard labor done on the site. I am still on the watch, while in the higher instances nobody seems to care. Painting and then scratching paint and carving a little into the wood layer has been a favorite technique for a while.
