This light and sunny oil painting from series “Hot Summer” relives memories of sea vacations, sand beach, and the views one often gets while sunbathing. To the contrary with most of my other works, which often contain some hidden meanings and stories, in the “Hot Summer” paintings you get exactly what you see: summer, sun, beach, relaxation, and of course beautiful women.

About The Artwork

In "L'uomo Che Guarda - VI," Levich offers an exquisite canvas that reflects the calmness of seaside leisure. The realistic depiction of a figure lounging in the sun is a masterful representation of the relaxed atmosphere that a city beach can offer. This painting, with its soft textures and harmonious color palette, conveys the tactile experience of sun on skin and the rhythmic lapping of water nearby. Drawing its name from a renowned erotic film, the piece intertwines visual delight with cinematic homage, providing an additional dimension for the discerning collector. Levich’s work is not just an artistic expression but also a visual retreat, promising to transform any space with the ambience of summer's ease.

What is the most important thing in life? It's not the external surroundings but our inner world. Painting serves as the key that unlocks this realm. By following this path, one learns not just to look, but to truly SEE. Through my art, I delve into profound content. Painting becomes a medium of communication, a canvas for thoughts. The questions are always deeper than the answers, and the answers are discoveries we make within ourselves. My paintings serve as guides, leading you along the pathways of your own thoughts. I aim to offer you the joy of connecting with your inner world, the luxury of harmony and solitude in communication with yourself. I was born in 1963 in Kyiv, Ukraine, and in 1987, I graduated from the painting faculty of the Kyiv Art Academy, under the guidance of Professor A.M. Lopukhov. Since 1990, I have been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. As a professional artist with over 30 years of experience, my artistic journey can be divided into two main periods. The first period, which spanned over 20 years after my graduation, can be described as "Metarealism." The second period, which I refer to as my "return to realism," began around 2010, you may explore my artworks from both periods showcased here. If you would like to delve deeper into my portfolio, view additional paintings beyond those displayed on this website, or if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me directly via email at a.levich@protonmail.com. You are also warmly welcome to visit my studio in Kyiv. Thank you sincerely for your interest.
