About The Artwork

Once upon a time, a man named Jack decided to go hunting. He took all the necessary things and went on an adventure. Walking down a winding road, Jack noticed an old car hanging from the branches of a tree. The car looked like it had been there for years and had become part of the landscape. Jack wondered who could have left it there and why no one ever came back for it. Curious, he approached the car. It was covered in rust and had branches growing through it, but it was still recognizable as a classic 60’s classy car. Jack looked inside and saw that the car had been completely stripped of its interior, leaving only the steering wheel and some scrap metal. Looking at the car, Jack heard a rustle in the bushes nearby. Jack’s dog started barking furiously. Jack grabbed his hunting rifle and cautiously walked towards the source of the noise. Suddenly a large bear emerged from the bushes and Jack knew he had to act fast. He raised his rifle and fired, hitting the bear in the shoulder. The bear stumbled but didn’t fall and kept walking towards Jack. He fired again, hitting the bear in the head and killing it instantly. The next few days passed without incident, but the abandoned car haunted Jack’s thoughts. Finally, unable to resist his curiosity anymore, Jack returned to the woods and found the car right where he had left it. He spent a long time examining every inch of the car, looking for clues as to why it was abandoned. Finally he found a small slip of paper tucked into the glove compartment. It was a letter from a woman, written in shaky handwriting. The letter explains that the woman went for a ride and while driving through the forest, a moose crossed the road towards her. She could not control the car and crashed into a tree. The woman was too traumatized and left the car there, hoping that she might get it back someday.
