I am "ONE YEAR" old Self-portrait Painting

Every artist painted his self-portrait at least once. But it so happened that I escaped this fate and I do not have a single self-portrait. In general, it's time to take your self-portrait when you are 20-30 years old, when you are young and beautiful, but not at 59, of course! Despite this, I decided to make my self-portrait, with the only difference being that I am not the current one, but when I am only one year old. It seemed like a cool idea to me. There is another reason for this: all our subsequent actions in life are laid down in childhood, right?! And I noticed that roses, especially flowers like dahlias, give me an inexplicably quivering mysterious feeling. At first I thought it was because all my life we had a lot of roses growing in our yard (family business) and other flowers like carnations and dahlias. Another photo of my one-year-old me, my sister held me, where I gently touched the thin, sharp petals of a red dahlia with one hand. For this project, the first thing I did was buy the biggest beautiful frame for the future picture. This is the personification of, as it were, my happy childhood, but in order to compensate for the too “royal empire” design of the frame (after all, all the people of the former Soviet Union lived in poverty), I decided to leave my shirt in the original imprimatura color, that is, without coloring, in the sense - not rich but happy childhood.
