Dušan Marino was born in 1989 in Pancevo, where he lives, and he visits Belgrade every day for work. He completed the Bachelor and Master studies in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. For over 10 years, he has been running the alternative art space "Galleria caffe" in Pancevo, which deals with the promotion of culture and the affirmation of young artists. As a curator, he organized more than 180 exhibitions of young Serbian and foreign artists, many of whom have built successful careers. Through his artistic work, he records everyday life, ordinary things, popular culture, trash, and kitsch ... but also the complex relationship of an individual/man, his identity in relation to the time and circumstances that surround him and his unconscious view of himself. Often presenting an individual without a face / without an identity, a person immersed in a group in many ways, at the same time noticing and noting their features, often so funny and even more often grotesque, he wants to keep those scenes interesting maybe only to him at this moment. With his works, he points out to the observer the utilitarian content of his work, which is in the right way separated from the aesthetic form. So far, in addition to many group and solo exhibitions, he has participated in numerous art competitions where he has been awarded, of which he singles out: Awards: Galleries of 12HUB & Raiffeisen bank - Competition "New Wall" 2014, first prize and production of art wall installation in bank's building. Art Salon of the City of Pancevo 2013 - First Prize and purchase for the museum collection
