Μίλησα με τον έρωτα. Για των συναντήσεων μας το φιάσκο.... -Μέσα σε μια άγρια αθώα στιγμή μου σε βρήκα, καθισμένος, επάνω στης νιότης τον ταύρο, με πλάτη μαστιγωμένη από αθώους θύτες, του είπα... -Μέσα στο ανελέητο της φυσικής "αρμονίας", εντροπίας σε βρήκα, με πρόστυχους νόμους στημένη, σειρήνα και μαύρη χήρα επάνω στον ιστό της ανάγκης σου, ηλίθιε, παρα-μορφωμένε εγκέφαλε, μου είπε.... -Μέσα, σ έναν κρυφό πόθο άγνωστη μου σε βρήκα, σχεδιάζοντας το αθάνατο πάνω στον θάνατο, ενταφιάζοντας με με ονειρώξεις, του είπα... -Μέσα στην φοβισμένη, μη ανταπόκριση μου σε βρήκα, κάνοντας την πουτανιά τέχνη, διδαγμένη από γηραιούς, μου είπε...Με το ζόρι κράτησα το όνομα μου, γιατί έπρεπε να σε διδάξω... -Μέσα στην φυγή μου σε βρήκα....Στις εσχατιές των φόβων μου, που το συρματόπλεγμα, το έβλεπα μαγιάτικο στεφάνι του είπα....Άσχετο αν κρεμάστηκα επάνω του, σκιάχτρο για να φοβίζω τους αφελείς... - Μέσα στην απαίτηση μου, στον εγωισμό μου, που συμμάχησε με το βιασμένο δίκιο μου, σε βρήκα μου είπε....Δεν φανταζόμουν πως το δίκιο μου αυτό, θα έκοβε λαιμούς αθώους.... Χωρίσαμε δίχως ετυμηγορίες... Τώρα πια, γράφω για ε-αυτόν, καθισμένος στον θρόνο του τυχαίου, παίζοντας κομπολόι την ειρωνεία του γίγνεσθαι...χαιδεύοντας τραύματα....δίχως να περιμένω θαύματα....

Maher was born in Cairo, in 1956. He studied Clinical Psychology in Ain Shams University with postgraduate studies in Sweden. Being a citizen of the world and a restless mind, he travelled a lot around the world studying the Man. He moved to Greece in 1982 in order to study Ancient Greek Philosophy and he was enchanted by “Megas” N. Kazantzakis, as Maher calls him. So he stayed here and he literally devoted his life to the Man. He passionately studied the personalities, the religions of the world, the human behaviors, and the deep acquaintance of the self/individual and the negotiation with Death. In recent years he lives and works as a Clinical Psychologist in Thessaloniki. Tender and polite but non-negotiable in his principles, he decided to put life on the painter’s canvas from the Psychologist’s point of view. He claims that "The tragedy of falling boundaries around us, allows us to reorganize reality in a more accurate and reliable way ... by scouring the sorrows from foolish reality." He has held many personal art exhibitions in Thessaloniki and Athens as well as in the Egyptian Embassy. He has presented his work to the media several times as an artist and psychologist analyzing how human emotions appear on the artistic canvas in a dance full of passion between the fear of death and life. Lately he has been exhibiting together with his life partner Lena Boccasile who is also an artist.
