I choose the dolphin Painting

This work was done under two proceses, the first one was to paint the background with oils following my mood and letting my hand move freely. Coincidence or not I happened to be having some difficult times, including the mourning of my mom. In the second process I decided to draw a dolphin. When I finally finished it I became aware of the darkness behind the dolphin, and the light behind that darkness and that somehow the dolphin is swimming towards a more colorful sight. I like to see this painting as a reminder to choose the positive side of things and as an encouragement to see the light even in the darkest places. I hope that whoever gets to see this painting can use it the same way I do or even better. I've recently chosen this way of painting because it has served me as a therapy to express or release my emotions aswell as to make them conscious.
