I'm Listening Painting

I love the quietness of this piece. While I was painting, layering the petals, I could almost hear the soft rustling of the wind moving through the petals which, made me think of the things we miss we we aren't listening. Then, the bend of the flowers leaning into the light of the sun made me think of what it looks like when someone is listening, really listening - the leaning in, the quietness, the gentleness of the act of listening.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ~ Listening is a gift we give to our people, it's an act of love and care that everyone needs to both give and receive. ~⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I hope you have someone who tells you that they're listening.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
