About The Artwork

There is a fine line between loss of memory and outright insanity. This work, created entirely in blue, captures the intersection between those two states. The subject is totally alone, almost lost, but yet caught in an almost overwhelming moment of concentration. As he tries to focus his mind, so the viewer is drawn into the painting via the wide-eyed stare and hand pressing against the temple. This is a work of true isolationism.
