About The Artwork

Exquisitely painted in acrylic on a hand stretched canvas in 2013 for solo exhibition "THE ONE AND THE MANY" in the Crypt Gallery, St Martin in the Fields, London, INNARDS humorously hints at the 'journey within' undertaken by all spiritual aspirants. Where does that inner journey take us? From our guts and heart through the mind and emotions to the non physical? INNARDS retraces the labyrinth motif at the centre of Chartres Cathedral, itself a symbol of the contemplative introspection needed to gain wisdom.
