About The Artwork
This painting was inspired by a large fire in Philadelphia that burnt down a corner row home on 52nd street. The fire was put out during freezing temperatures and formed a ice covered surface almost instantly as the water met the surface. This painting represents that moment as the streams of liquid and gases change to solids and the fire and water turns to ice.
