IconicAF Season2, Episode 2: "Enter the Dragon" Painting

This particular piece of "Lee Jun Fan" is Mach #1 in the IconicAF Season 2 series of acrylic paintings from my studio in Northern California. Bruce Lee is a hero to many people around the world even till this very day. When I look back at a lot of his documentaries, it is clear that he was way ahead of his time in terms of philosophy, his approach to health, and his approach to story telling. Some of the most vivid memories of my glorious childhood are the numerous afternoons spent watching his movies and going out into the yard right after the movie was over to mimic his moves. A man of East Asian descent who was born in San Francisco CA, he was in many ways a bridge between eastern and western cultures. Although he died way to young, I am grateful that he lived and gave so many of us something to aspire to. In creating this piece, I envisioned something I would've loved to see hanging in the game room of my home which is why it is larger than the typical canvas I create on. This is without doubt one of my favorite pieces in the IconicAF series from my studio in Norther California.
