SOLD "Wait, Wait, Wait" is the fourth artwork in "Idan" series, inspired by the journey into the darkest side of oneself influenced by substances. This artwork rhas a dual meaning. On the one side, it represents a shadow of a naked woman, dancing in a wild pace and drinking out of the bottle, while her roused partner tries to take a photo of her, and asking her to wait for him. On the other side, this can be viewed as a woman who is lonely in her room, surrounded by her own shadow, and who yells out to the world through the speaker, "Wait, wait, wait...", but the door is closed and no one can hear her plea. For unknown to me reason, I have always had a very difficult relationship with accepting the people who abuse the substances of all kinds. "Idan" series is my own journey of acceptance of the addiction side of me through observation of other people, dear to my heart at some point in my life. (C) 2008 TRANSLATED POETRY (ENGLISH) Do not you walk on my moral, My young god of diligent knowledge, And in a pile of fabulous confessions Don’t search for universal spell! My weak admiral, it’s not for you To take my clothes off the shoulder And In a funny meek way hope That I will cool your dashing fuse. You are a mirage in the desert sand. I do not blame you for a thing! You lack all fragments and commands Which I admire in mature men! And therefore there is no need for words ... I forgive you for scenes, for fights, For worthless ill-advised attacks On my immaculate alcove. And it may seem to you sometimes That I’m dying of love for you ... I beg you, sir! Please, save your fume! Such a hero does not suit my rhyme! .. (C) 2008 *** All original paintings include a certificate of authentication and a piece of original and translated poetry with an autograph attached to the back of the painting.

Elena Emma's unique painting and writing style exudes infinite inner depth and freedom. All of her paintings, completed with an illustrative playful touch, have a piece of unique, immensely deep poetry dedicated to them, contrasting the complexity of adult-like subjects with child-like strokes. As a diverse writer, emerging artist, startup consultant and entrepreneur, a professor, a mother of two boys, and a passionate, curious, and spiritual woman, Elena draws her inspiration from experiential fearlessness, deep observational analysis, continuous soul searching, and never-ending internal and external growth. Her visual and written stories, often told from a female perspective, concentrate on exploring the larger picture in business, love, and being. They stimulate the reader and the viewer with open-ended questions and strong encouragement to find his or her own truth. Her characters and situations are multi-dimensional, and through them, she often challenges widely-accepted designations of personal and professional, new and old, right and wrong, good and bad, blurring the preset differences between these terms, and offering new definitions. Elena is the authentic "voice" of her generation, of those born in the 1980s and 1990s to a world of distorted physical, geographical, and moral boundaries, who are yet to find balance between the inborn inner wisdom and cynical dissonance of outside happenings. Be it fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or paintings, Elena Emma's artwork will leave you mildly teary-eyed and contemplative about your own daily existence and the changes you can make to it. THE SKY IS NO LIMIT.
