Dark to Darkness eliminates the figure entirely and creates a series of abstract works that reflects my growing interest in form, color, and composition. The colors, lines, drawings convey a philosophical contemplation of the body and its environment, whereby living in both a digital and a physical world the body is dissipating, and the image is no longer restricted to what we see but how we experience memory, time, and space in our contemporary abstract, and digital living. The luminosity of these abstract works on paper is translated through the specific use of color, which creates an atmosphere that is charged with emotion.
