About this large ochre, blue, black abstract original canvas painting by JVS: "Imperfection" Inspired by the universe and the exploration of perfect imperfection. The universe catches us perfectly in our imperfection. It is the place where we prove ourselves, where we try and test ourselves. It is also the field in which we grow, develop and transform. The universe is constantly proving us wrong. Since the universe in wise foresight has equipped us in the core with our creative possibilities, in order to recognize this universe retrospectively then again as our cradle, it protects us on a small planet called earth like in the womb. The universe is perfect, unlike us. However, we should love our imperfection, understand the universe and with it finally ourselves sometime to some extent. Further about this original, hand-painted artwork: The canvas is painted completely for your advantage, no white canvas edges, perfect for an exciting extra large gallery wrap artwork. Since many collectors have approached me in recent months and specifically are looking for unstretched canvas, which is completely painted in the entire width and height, I now also offer here this unique abstract, oversized ultramarine blue piece. Many of my collectors love to place the unstretched canvas as it is on the wall of their loft without further preparation or re-stretching. If you want to have the painting restretched, this is very easily possible. The advantage: In this case, with my large piece, the edges are completely painted and the artwork thus creates a particularly unique effect at the wall as one-of-a-kind wall art. This opens the chance to explore it from all sides. Total canvas size unstretched: 47,05 inch wide and 47,05 inch high - 119,5cm wide and 119,5cm high. This unique painting will be shipped carefully rolled and securely packed. Shipping artworks unstretched save a large portion on transport costs. I ship my art into the world since the late 1990s without any problems. This is a very unique large hand-painted artwork. Not some large giclee reproduction print, canvas print or assembly line painted piece. You can feel the deep and true emotion in this large painting. It was painstakingly created with much passion and love for every single brushstroke. All my pieces are fully signed on the back. (If you wish an additional signature on the front, this is gladly possible on request, please provide a short note when ordering). Fine high quality materials such Golden artist paint products are used. A certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist, is attached to each work and includes a list of used material. Painting in interior design setting pictures might not be perfectly to scale. Mentorship Prof. Luigi Colani. 2014 collaboration with Tony Ward who honored von Sternberg's work with a photo production and two portraits of Jacob. Since his childhood Jacob creates art. His works have been sold to institutional customers and private collectors; owners and operators of international cruise vessels (also to the German version vessel of the Love Boat TV series "Traumschiff" MS Deutschland), private, and charter yachts, and to hotels all over the world. His paintings and sculptural art is spread all over Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Hungary, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Gibraltar, San Marino, France, Monaco, Sweden, Denmark, Liechtenstein, Belgium, Luxembourg, Canada (Nova Scotia, Alberta, British Columbia), United Kingdom, and United States. (Los Angeles, New York City, Long Island, Florida, Washington D.C., Chicago, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Ohio, and Cincinnati) "In my life there were very challenging experiences that have shaped my view of life itself. What remains is the love and kindness in my heart, which I cherish like a treasure. Whatever happens in life, the beat of our hearts decides the path. The essence of unity is reflected in my art. I travelled the world in search of my family and eventually achieved the healing of generations through my relentless search and longing to reunite my family on two continents. By nature I am actually rather shy and very sensitive. I love to support others. Love to speak about unity, about love, and all the wonders I witnessed on my journey around the world. I am grateful you are interested in my work. Art is my life. My work features small, medium, large and also extra large scale paintings on a very wide variety of surfaces. I use canvas, paper, wood, and several nonconventional surfaces such as time worn wood, vintage papers, and antique textiles, and metal findings that I have collected over the years during my travels. I often paint with tools that I have developed myself or use unconventional ones. At times I refuse to use brushes and painter's knives and use only things from everyday life in an adapted form to create my art. My sculptural works feature beach wood, textile surfaces in combination with colored resin, and a selection of antique findings.
