About The Artwork

This 2016 watercolor takes the name of the Roy Orbinson's song "In dreams" and was inspired by images I got on the Internet about the film "Lost Highway" by David Lynch and what I saw through my window at that moment. Because I had seen the movie I had an idea of what scenes I wanted to include in my watercolor and at the same time I remembered a drawing I did when I was seventeen after reading a book about David Lynch where the author described how was the atmosphere of "Twin Peaks" before I saw anything about this series. So finally I had some female figures that were the same woman in different moments, one of these ones with a man, and a big female face, as if she was an hallucination, surrounded by a surreal atmosphere of green flora that were the trees I saw through my window. This watercolor with vague and bright color areas is signed and dated on the front and is shipped rolled in an extra cardboard tube. For a best appearance it is reccommend to frame it.
