About The Artwork
In this abstract landscape with urban accents, I mixed several techniques using opaque, semi-transparent and transparent paints, ranging from dilution to wheelbase. I wanted to avoid controlling the randomness of my usual technique. So I thought each shape more precisely before I painted it, which influenced my gesture and gave a composition of elements more defined in space. To preserve a set of materials I applied the usual fades and color overlays with this time different brush sizes. I also used templates to obtain patterns of circles more or less present that accentuate the geometric aspect of the image. https://youtu.be/AxssiVOhqaM
