ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is inspired by the Indian Weddings, and especially the festive evenings. The nightly festivities full of melodious music, intoxicating aroma and lively rich colors intermixed with gold leave an everlasting impression in everyone's minds, which I have portrayed in this impressionistic abstract painting. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, while creating it. This impasto painting is created with heavy-body / high-viscosity professional grade acrylic paints (with a high concentration of finely ground pigment, and with high color-permanence ratings) - applied with a range of palette knives on gesso-primed and stretched canvas. Later, it is finished with 3 coats of varnish, to keep the artwork safe.
