The woman sits and spends time reflecting on all that is oneself. By contemplating her thoughts your own inner thoughts are revealed as you contemplate what is on her mind. There is turmoil and strength in the reds and tranquility in the blue. This is painted in oil on MDF canvas board and inspired by the photography of A. Kieselev.

Marjory is an artist working primarily in Oils, the media of the great masters. She lives in Falkirk Scotland. Her paintings are exhibited internationally and are held in private collections. Marjory is primarily self - taught and in 2003 she enrolled in an art class hosted by the Master Still Life artist Denzil N. Herring where she soaked up knowledge like a sponge. Over the years- and a few broken rules, Marjory has developed her own individual style and has shown a broad versitlity that is a strong theme in her exhibitions. Marjory also gives art classes at her studio locally and both beginners and advanced levels are welcome. If you would like to learn to paint in oils or would like to book a demonstration in oil painting please make contact through the contact form on this site.
