About The Artwork
The Interstellar series is an exploration of potential language from outer space. . Layers of marks in circular patterns form the basis of the painting. There are layers of marks with layers of acrylic mediums in an effort to create a floating look of depth. The painting surface is quite smooth, with layers of acrylic mediums applied for smoothness and hardness, followed by glossy varnish. The painting is on a baltic birch panel, with clean clear coated birch edges. Framing hardware in included. No frame is necessary.
