About The Artwork

The paint is made entirely of paper and metal. Trough author's technique, plain paper is transformed into a three-dimensional paper pulp that serves as a base and memorizes all processes that occur. An iron plate is used that interacts with water, paper and fire. Once dried, the picture turns into a rich, embossed image that tells about the communication between the Elements.

Trukan's paintings are the result of the author's technique. Some of the paintings are on canvas, others are entirely on the basis of paper. He turns ordinary paper into a paper pulp that seals the interaction between water, metal, pigments and fire. Paper is a space in which processes and relationships take place between the individual elements and the author himself who engages in this unusual communication. The works are born under the open sky and carry the energy of the sea and virgin nature, which are the inspiration for their creator. The paintings are embossed and have a specific three-dimensional appearance, characteristic of Trukan's creativity. The author is an inspired creative personality whose everyday life is filled with art in various forms. Besides nature and natural processes such as Elements, Trukan is also excited by the horses and horesback archery, which are an integral part of his life. He inhabits wild places with his horses and embarks on a daily search in the direction of historical martial arts. His activities take him along the roads that challenge him, teach and enrich his inner world. This is the result we see in his paintings filled with energy and depth. Works of Trukan are possessions of private collectors from Bulgaria, Greece, Russia, Spain, France, Belgium and Switzerland. Awards 1997- National exhibition “Spring ’97”, “PIB” Foundation award, Union of Bulgarian artist 1997- Drawing Contest Award, National Academy of Art
