About The Artwork
This story is based on real developments of lonely and fearless mother and her daughter. In the midst of the crisis, woman with child stay alone and "naked", but haven't afraid the challenge of fate. Grind their teeth and compress the fists, contrary to the difficulties they look forward and hope to meet their hapiness. The wind and disasters blows into their faces, but this is not interference for them. At work was used sackcloth and stiff paints strokes to display the severe elements in contrast with delicate, pastel color palette like a reminder of fragile female nature. Oleg Malin is latvian artist and graphic designer, he belongs to Daugavpils regional artists association. All his life he engaged by painting, drawing and graphic design. Also he has experience in sculpting, photography, video editing, animation, web design and printing industry. From time to time we can meet Oleg at ceramic's center, where in free time he made whistles. Oleg inspired by natural forms, all beautiful simmetry. Most recently he has expanded his artistic exploration to oil painting, and strives to capture beauty, spirit, and motion in his works, all of them are based on love of pure design. He has exhibited in Moscow, New York and London and his works are in private collections all around the world. At the age of 30 he left his job in media and decided to finally have a stab at something he reallly enjoyed.
