For centuries, Buddha has been symbol of love and peace. Due to some selfish people in the world, sometimes humans suffer whether these are atrocities of war or hatred among the different races and religions. This painting tries to depict the pain Buddha will feel if he could see the world today. Red color in the painting represents the pain in Buddha's heart. I will not be able to reproduced this art work even if I want to as this work emerged from the abstract work I was doing. I was confused and was staring at the canvas about how to proceed. Suddenly I could see the image of Buddha popping out from the blurs of colourful lines and edges! And I painted this piece. Seems a message to me!!

My painting technique can be compared to the looking for images in the clouds. I begin with a blank canvas and as I layer on the initial coat of paint to create textures and colours, I start to see shapes and figures emerge from the paint. This is the foundation from which my paintings develop. With the freedom open-minded approach brings, my painting takes on a life of its own. From the images I initially see, my paintings take on stories, issues, and experiences to which others can relate. I encourage to read the story behind or developed with the work. When you look into my work, you will see the story falling into place. With this work you can also create your own story! I am currently working on “Common Man” series. The main subject in each piece ,“Our Hero”, depicts the daily life of a person in different scenarios. Some of the paintings represent everyday tasks like running or dog walking. Others show the more adventurous side such as his “Cliffhanger” or “Ropewalker” pieces, while others show the challenges and pressures in as seen in his “Rising Corporate Ladder” painting.
