Deep canvas Easy to hang The deep concern I have over our leaders' inaction, globally speaking, faced with the global climate change dangers, is one of the main motivating factors for me in creating this original abstract landscape flow art painting. 2007/2008 was international Polar Year. One of the reasons is that "the poles are where much of the research concerning global climate change is taking place." Scientists have discovered that "the summer of 2007 saw an unprecedented mass-melting of one million additional square miles of sea ice, an area larger than Texas and Alaska combined." They also discovered that "glaciers are in retreat throughout the Arctic, and the ice sheets that cover Greenland and Antarctica are melting at record rates."
