It Comes at Night Painting

Fear and pandemic fall hand in hand. Covid-19 has rocked us and impacted nearly every aspect of our lives, sleeping and waking. Constant nightmares, what-ifs, fearing for our loved ones. A very unsustainable mental state that we've had to endure for over a year. Plagued by nightmares, waking all who are affected by this pandemic, the last year resembles much of the movie this piece has been named after. There are glimmers of hope however, acts of kindness, and bravery that have surprised us all. This pieces combines the dark with the light to find some peace in a year that has been a trauma for so many.
