About The Artwork

This tree reminded me of a Koi Fish. It was going into to the sky and it's fall foliage was very red. The painting is my representation of a tree. When I was young I remember laying on the grass looking up on the sky through tree branches and at the sky. Seeing the abstract shapes the tree branches and clouds created. As I got older I learned about the oxygen and other products the trees provide that are needed and used every second of our lives. Later I learned about the abuses and how the trees get cleared in the Amazon and different parts of the world. This series is a homage to the wonderful and magnificent presence of trees in our daily lives.
