About The Artwork
There was a Japanese Magnolia, or Magnolia Lilliiflora, in the yard of my childhood home which got tall. I climbed it a lot for the view and the easy climb. This plant is originally from China and cultivated in other places like Japan and my native Louisiana. So I painted these because they belong to some of the places I belong.
