About The Artwork

The idea is to bring art, science and spirituality together in an exchange with business, to arrange a meeting where artists, scientists, philosophers and business leaders meet in dialogue. Joseph Beuys was initially enthusiastic, but later asked about it, he says: "The meeting was not successful. According to Buddha's teaching, experiences and events have their causes not only in this life, but also in earlier existences. Thoughts, speech and action have a corresponding effect in the future - the so-called karma principle. This also explains why people's inner and outer circumstances are so different. Buddha's teaching is thus a method of training the mind with currents into the past and into the future of ourselves and for society. Also in the philosophical world of Joseph Beuys, in the so-called "social sculpture", these dimensions are applied. His work and his thinking can only be understood in a "web of holistic ideas". This design of a unity of work and life, of projection into the past and future, goes beyond the conventional concept of art. Beuys has always dreamed of the possibility of extending the concept of art, especially in "social sculpture", to all areas of life in our society. Even anthroposophists such as Rudolph Steiner were still searching for a spiritual reorientation of the West during the industrial revolution. He combines the meaning of life with an expanded concept of religion and poses questions about the nature of man in a deepening way, so that the philosophical ground can be regarded as well-prepared to absorb the wisdoms of Asia.
