The girl in the jump. She is on the go all the time. The kid who wants to fly. The Jumping series depicts an enthusiastic, bouncing girl, dressed in a floral dress and a straw hat that occasionally falls off her head. The artist was inspired by watching her niece, her games and her desire for non-stop movement. The dynamics of the action are conveyed by the artist using blurred outlines and broad brush strokes. The picture is full of contrasts and streams of light which help in conveying the movement. The work is painted in acrylic on canvas. It's signed.
