Jungle of House Plants with Pink Jaguar Still Life after Matisse Painting

This lovely clutter of house plants offer an indoor jungle in which a spotted pink, red, and purple jaguar may lurk. An acrylic gouache still life on cradled board with a deep birch cradle, this piece is typical of my maximalist, colorful, plant-filled work. An array of pots add layers of color and pattern to the piece-- pale pink ridged and fluted pots; red pots speckled with gold, white, and indigo medallions and crosses; simple terracotta planters; lively blue containers. The verdant leaves contrast beautifully with the rich coral background, featuring spiky snake plants in speckled green and yellow; emerald orbifolia with white stripes; magenta laceleaf anthurium with vibrant lime and forest green leaves, and so many more. A white tablecloth with a prussian blue curling line lies at the base of the pots. The painting is 8x10 on cradled birch board and will ship, lovingly wrapped in layers of acid free glassine paper and cushioned padding, in a box.
