Đây là một tác phẩm của giai đoạn trước với Họa Tâm. Ngoại trừ những tác phẩm về áp lực của tuổi trưởng thành, Kí ức sâu biểu đạt tính cá nhân nhiều hơn (sau này mình mới nhận ra) . Nhìn sâu hơn, các tác phẩm của mình không chỉ tạo ra sự đồng cảm, kết nối với quý khán giả. Mà ở đó còn là sự biểu đạt của tiềm thức chính mình. Điều đặc biệt – với chính mình, mà đến mãi sau này mình mới nhận ra, đó là trong các tác phẩm của mình luôn xuất hiện một nhân vật ngồi ôm gối, cuộn mình lại, đôi khi là sự quan sát, đôi khi là tự ẩn ức. Và mình chợt nhận ra đó là mình. Là một tiềm thức khác. Là những trải nghiệm ấu thơ mà mình đã quên, là những ngày tháng ở nhà một mình. Là những khoảnh khắc tự lập sớm. Mình vẫn nhớ những ngày ở nhà một mình trong căn nhà khá rộng với một đứa bé. Đặt bẫy, chèn cửa bằng sofa, gài gậy gài dây, bật tivi đôi khi cả ngày, chỉ đơn giản vì mình không muốn ở một mình, để có thêm âm thanh. Và nó làm mình cảm thấy an tâm. Và giờ mình thích cảm giác một mình đó. Những khoảng thời gian đó không dài, những nó đủ để in sâu vào tiềm thức một đứa trẻ.

As a young artist, I used the time that I graduate the Viet Nam University of Fine Art to start walking on my own creative path, with more freedom, and focus on the things that are more personal. At the sametime, that overly given freedom made me more lonely. The work in this period, known from the exhibition that was held a year ago, was the subject of humans with the other sides of emotions, a cold pallette and sharp images representing adulthood. It is a place where everyone has to go through. I spent the next year comtemplating about loneliness – freedom and experience – journey. Experience is something we strive for. The Journey however, with all the unpredictabilities, will let us know what we deserves. I choose to take on this new journey, with the preparation that is experiences, to keep on painting again with new respect and gratitute after all the ungratefulness and forgetfulnes I had before that.
