KUWAIT. Camel racing people of the desert bragging on dry sands suspended over black liquid gold. Dishing out currency that out matches all others in value. Prosperity that lacks nothing. But all joy is grief when basking out for a tan and the dessert sun only burns to scald. All sweet things bitter as a much awaited cooling winter becomes its shivering cold. Surrounded by the flat Arabian desert and no lands to till. Locked up in a fortress next to water that can't quench. Anxious and mistrustful about temporal riches, pleasure and ambition. Children remain shackled in place assuring their aging parents of certain descendants. With the clarity of eternity the object of benevolence is clearly detestable and all glory is baseless. Those who were once considered wealthy poor and wretched. The desert prince becomes worse than a pauper.
