About The Artwork

Katherine Howard, about to pay the executioner, hesitates, and showing an acceptance of her fate with a gloomy resigned expression on her face, but still pauses, hoping time will stop and she does not have to die, but she knows what is about to happen. This was based on a scene in which Lynne Frederick played Queen Katherine in the 1972 film, the Six Wives Of Henry VIII.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I live in Manchester in the UK I am influenced by L.S. Lowry and Arthur Delaney, Northern artists. I started out as a naive-pictorial artist, but as I have developed, I have become more pictorial, though my work still has some naive elements. I have done some nostalgia tram paintings, but now am concentrating on portraiture and figurative art. When I paint a portrait of someone, I am looking for an interesting facial expression, which demonstrates something of the subject's character and psychology, as well as what they look like.
