About The Artwork
The Kilauea volcanic flow this year in Hawaii was very intriguing and inspirational to me as an artist. I had to try to recreate it with resin and inks, and some acrylic paint. I plan on doing a larger version of this one in the future. It's hard to photograph resin paintings because they are extremely light reflective. People are really drawn to the very smooth, shiny surface. This piece is featured in a current November art exhibit called FLOW in Nashville, TN at Ground Floor Gallery & Studios, and will be available to ship on Nov. 28.
