About The Artwork
This painting came about more by accident and experiment than by design... It was inspired by my uncle Frank and his travels throughout Ireland, the stag was actually a print I saw in a local pub, a stag fighting off some hunting dogs. I used lots of masking tape to help build up the layers, it then started to look like light beams so I built off that idea...
