About The Artwork
From a series about fabric, china, and women. I intend to share thoughts of the contrast of beauty vs cultural roles. This piece was created for a “women in art” theme which leads me to works by Leslie Dill and garments for women. I personally love porcelain china, fabrics and wall papers. Each piece in the series has a grape like cluster for fertility, drawings of leaves and seeds, dots and it plays with feminine styled orbs. Homage to floral arts is part of this piece.
