About The Artwork
The Notre-Dame de Paris fire described here raged on April 15 and 16, 2019 for nearly 15 hours. The flames spread to the frame and the spire which, by collapsing, caused the collapse of the vault of the transept crossing, part of that of the north arm and that of a bay of the nave. The intervention of hundreds of firefighters, until daybreak, made it possible to save the entire structure of the building. Currently under identical reconstruction, it should be delivered in 2024.
