About The Artwork
Liguria got its name because of the place where the idea and original image got born. Sea was rough and nobody dared to swim that day. While weather condition was perfect the sea didn’t allow any visitors. I wanted to create almost snow -like feeling of a foam in contrast with pastel colours. Added green completes the harmony between ultramarine blue and deep colours breaking through the foam. • Prepared to be ready to hang, oil painting on canvas. Painting has all of the sides finished painted with one of the base colours. • All of my artworks are unique pieces, no copies are made. • Every original artwork is comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. • Professionally and safely packed. • Hand painted by Nina Albiniova. My name is Nina Albiniova. Born and raised in Slovakia but about 6 years ago I moved to the beautiful city of Milan in Italy. Growing up at an 8 hours drive from the nearest sea, I had always wondered what it would be like to look at the horizon and see nothing but water as far you can see. Often, the things furthest away amaze us most. My inspiration comes from water as a whole. I just love looking at the sea and being in or near the water. The connection I have with the sea is for me something I don’t experience with anything else. The sea has infinite amount of moods, shapes and faces that amaze me. I feel like there is so much I want to express and tell by painting this specific subject. I try to translate my feelings into my paintings and offer the viewer an unique experience. Calling out his/her memories or simply transport them to being at the sea in the moment -almost being able to smell the salty air.
