In this work, I have captured the serenity of a sunset, using oil paint to capture the warmth of the sky that blends with the tranquility of this viewpoint of the Albufera lake. I was inspired by realism to detail the reflection and shadows, but with a touch of pop art to modernize the scene. The Albufera Natural Park is located just 10 km from the city of Valencia. It is like an urban oasis surrounded by rice fields and forest, where you can discover all the water birds and vegetation of the largest lake in Spain. La Albufera is the origin of Valencian gastronomy, it is the place where Paella was invented. There you can also take boat rides on the lake and disconnect from the city.
