About The Artwork
This piece is the first in a series of artworks dedicated to exploring more Queer skewed Art Forms. I've always liked depicting under represented characters and "La Cuntessa" developed from this idea I had one day about Trans/Crossdressers/NonBinary people in a sort of "Real Housewives" scenario wherein the seemingly lack of power in real life, the discrimination, etc. is replaced by figures wielding mysterious wealth and audacity. I wanted the audience to really ask themselves what is acceptable? When is it acceptable? The underlying question was really "When is it acceptable to be yourself and who is that really?"
