"La Paz se nos escapa de las manos" means "Peace escapes from our hands". It is part of the series "Painting the world I live". This painting was inspired in more than 50 years of conflict in my born country where we always see peace escaping from our hands, again and again. Finally a peace agreement was signed and we are in the way to see peace one day. I'm looking forward to paint that moment...
