Michelangelo Buonarroti has affected not only the art of the Renaissance, but all that followed.
This wonderful detail, the serene face of Christ is emphasized by the cut of lights that enhance the forms and beauty.
In my presentation I tried to grasp the velvety touch of the great master, thanks to gun ownership, highlighted the contrast with the background painted with charcoal, watercolor and ink.

After years of searching for technique and style, I found in my heart and in mind the way of representing my knowledge and sensations. The technique has always been and will always be painting mainly with the airbrush, because it is a “technical” tool that allows you to create sensations, just as my research is “technical”, aimed at the themes of science, cosmology, nature . At the end of this long journey, I can define myself as a “Contemporary Cosmic Surrealist” painter, because through contamination between reality and the unreal, my works invite to reflect on our role in the universe and on the need to restore a balance with Nature. My goal is to arouse with the creation of surreal and at the same time hyperreal worlds, with an attention to cutting-edge technologies and innovative materials, a deep sense of wonder and connection with the world that surrounds us. The creative path comes from my visions, which materialize thanks to a 3D digital elaboration. From here I create my paintings in airbrushing and sculptures through 3D printers. My works are not only an artistic exploration, but an invitation to action: together we can build a world in which man and nature coexist in harmony. My sources of inspiration are essays in science, science fiction film with scientific foundations, walks in nature, artists who find similarities with my research, for a constantly evolving style. Biography Born in Rome in 1970, Giampiero Abate is a self-taught artist specialized in the airbrushing technique. Inspired by surrealism with the fusion of unreal and real, with references to science and philosophy, the works invite to reflect on our role in the universe and the need to restore a balance with nature. For this he defines himself as “Contemporary Cosmic Surrealist”. Its goal is to arouse with the creation of surreal and at the same time hyperreal worlds, with an attention to cutting-edge technologies and innovative materials, a deep sense of wonder and connection with the world that surrounds us. Abate’s work has been exhibited internationally in important museums and institutional spaces including: 54th Venice Biennale, Italian Pavilion – Turin National Etruscan Museum in Villa Giulia – Rome Marino Marini Museum – Florence National Central Library – Rome . Testaccio Museum – Rome MAGMMA Museum – Villacidro (VS) Palazzo Ferdinando di Savoia – Rome Basilica S.
