The series "Highways & a Dream" where this painting belongs to, is inspired by the trip from North to South Europe and back. While driving through the fabulous landscapes of our continent the mind drifts to thoughts that cannot be described, thus remain merely abstract. This is what you see in these paintings. I based the paintings on photographs that I've been making traveling in Europe several times in the last decades. The line disappearing in the sky is painted with golden color oil paint and many details on the 'dream' as well; they give an extra shining to the image and the fleeting feel of the 'dream'. It is painted on primed cotton canvas stretched on wooden frame with double cross; a very sturdy construction. This work is recommended for someone who loves traveling and lets his/her mind drift along the passing landscapes.

She is founding member of the Gaidaro group which from 1999-2008 presented projects advocating for wide participation in the art practice and presentation.
